Emerging oil production in Cuba

The Petro Australis Energy team, including the board, is made up of highly capable and experienced oil industry professionals well suited to building an oil company in Cuba. Our skill sets include geosciences, drilling, fracking, production, and commercial acumen. We’ve built strong relationships in Cuba over many years.

PAE is an established operator in the central basin, onshore Cuba. We have a significant production growth opportunity, and several highly prospective appraisal / exploration prospects. We hold a 100% interest in three Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) with Cupet, the national oil company of Cuba.

Cuba’s oil demand significantly outstrips local supply. As PAE generates incremental oil production it will assist Cupet in reducing their reliance on imported oil.

Cuban Law 118 for Foreign Investment provides basic investment protection and other general rules relevant to foreign investors. PAE is in good company, joining a group of well-known foreign enterprises that have successfully operated in Cuba for decades.
